As a general rule, our rates are based on the number of words in the original source text, allowing us to offer an immediate quotation, which is not the case if the final translation (i.e. the target text) is used for this purpose.

In a highly competitive field, it is our practice to keep our rates at a reasonable level. However, the basic rate* will vary when such factors as unusual specifications, extra urgency, or 'exotic' languages are involved.

On the other hand, we offer standard discounts to regular clients, and in certain other circumstances, for instance, when one source text is to be rendered into several target languages, when it is delivered to us in a computer-readable format, etc.

Once a translation has been delivered to the client (usually by email), we remain open to further queries and clarifications, and this service is normally without charge.
